Disconnectionofpowersupplyisforbiddeninsidethehazardous

area.Whenconnectingordisconnectingtheterminalsensurethe

powersupplyisdisconnectedoutsidethehazardousarea.

Thesetemperaturetransmittersmustbemountedinacasethatmust

atleastcorrespondtofollowingingressprotectionIP54accordingto

EN60529/IEC60529.

WhenduringuseincircuitswiththesafetyclassnA(non-incendive)

thepermissibleconnectedloadshavebeenexceededforashortterm

,theuseofthesetransmittersincircuitswiththesafetyclassEExnL

(energylimited)isnotpermissibleanymore.

1)WhenthetransmittersareusedincircuitswiththesafetyclassnA,itispermissibletoexceedthe

maximumsupplyvoltagebyupto40%forashortterm.

TheprogrammingunitshallnotconnectedtotheT12iftheT12is

locatedinahazardousarea.Theplugforconnectionofaprogram-

mingunitonthefrontofT12.30shallnotbeusedinhazardarea.

Theplugforconnectionofaprogrammingunitonthefrontof

T12.30shallneitherbeusedforprogrammingtheT12norbe

disconnectedduringoperationinahazardousarea.

■

Theexternalwiringshallbesuitablefortheambienttemperature

rangeoftheenduseapplication.Themaximumambienttempe-

ratureforT12of85°Cshallbeconsidered.Theminimumcross

sectionforexternalwiringis0.14mm².
