6. Commissioning, operation

6.4.5 Activating/deactivating measuring channels (only for 2-channel

instruments) [Chnl]

Chnl = Channel = select

Press the ENTER/MENU key and select Chnl using the arrow keys ▲▼. Then press

ENTER/MENU again. A small 1 appears on the left side of the display, it indicates the

channel. Use the arrow keys ▲▼ to select the channel to be activated or deactivated.

Conrm selection by pressing ENTER/MENU. Use the arrow keys ▲▼ now to activate

on or deactivated o the set channel.

Use ESC to return to the measuring mode.

Alternative: keep the HOLD/MAX/MIN/AVE key pressed for 2 seconds; this deactivates

or activates channel 2.

At least one channel is always active!

6.4.6 Area entry for volume ow [ArEA]

The area dimensions can be entered only on instruments for ow measurement.

Press the ENTER/MENU key and select ArEA using the arrow keys ▲▼, then press the

ENTER/MENU key again. A small 1 appears on the left side of the display, it indicates

the channel. Use the arrow keys ▲▼ to select the channel. Conrm selection by

pressing ENTER/MENU. Now use the arrow keys ▲▼ to select the measuring unit:

c = centimeter²

m = meter²

Conrm selection by pressing ENTER/MENU. 00.00 is displayed now in the lower line

of the display. Change the blinking number by means of the arrow key ▲. Press the

arrow key ▼ to go to the next position. Conrm the input by pressing ENTER/MENU.

Press ESC to return to the measuring mode.
